ASUS will launch the ASUS ROG Phone 7 next month. Just like its predecessors, the ROG Phone 7 is a premium, mobile gaming machine packed inside a smartphone.

Just ahead of the ROG Phone 7’s launch, a few live images surfaced, which confirmed its design. Now, the smartphone’s performance has been revealed in the form of AnTuTu benchmark results, which are one of the most impressive not just in the segment, but overall.

An ASUS ROG Phone 7, with the model number ASUS_AI2205_D, has surfaced on AnTuTu. There are multiple smartphones under the ROG Phone 7 series. The series may include the ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, and ROG Phone 7D.

The variant of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 that was tested, managed to score a whopping 1346106 points. Needless to mention, this makes the smartphone a champion, at least in the synthetic benchmarks.

The leaked AnTuTu results confirm the ASUS ROG Phone 7 is packing 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone being tested is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC and is running Android 13.

ASUS ROG Phone 7 Specifications, Features

ASUS has merely confirmed the launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 7. The brand is yet to offer any details about the hardware embedded inside the ASUS ROG Phone 7. Hence most of the information has been collated from leaks and rumors about this premium gaming Android smartphone.

The Antutu results reconfirm that the ROG Phone 7 is powered by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The powerful chipset is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. There may be two more variants. One with 8GB RAM and the other with 16GB RAM.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the ROG Phone 7 series will be similar to ROG Phone 6 in external appearance. Recently leaked images of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 indicate the smartphone is quite tall.

The ROG Phone 7 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 20.4:9 aspect ratio. The display is rumored to have a resolution of 2448 × 1080 pixels, support HDR10+, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The display should hide an under-display fingerprint scanner.

ASUS may have embedded a 6000mAh battery inside the ASUS ROG Phone 7, which could support 65W Quick Charge 5.0 and PD 3.0 Charging wired fast charging. The ROG Phone 7 is tipped to feature a Sony IMX766 50MP main camera, which is coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP macro sensors. There should be a 32MP front-facing camera.

Some of the notable connectivity options on the ASUS ROG Phone 7 should include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 AX, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou, Galileo(E1+E5a), QZSS(L1+L5), NavIC(L5), USB Type-C, and NFC.

The phone is expected to have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 should run Android 13 with ROG UI & Zen UI.
