Which Toons do we like best?

Vee

Anyone fancy watching the telly? Well, Vee is a TV! She’s great for any team as her Active Ability ‘Mic Check’ highlights every Twisted on the current floor. This only lasts for 5 seconds though, and it has a 60-second cooldown. Despite this, it’s a very strong ability to have. It means all players can avoid the Twisteds for a short period, and can deduce where the Twisteds may move next.

Her second ability, Camera Hijack, highlights a nearby extractor machine. This only applies to the player, and not the rest of the team. It’s a quick way of figuring out where to go, instead of wandering around trying to find a machine.

Boxten

The purple box! Well, a music box, to be more specific. His passive ability speeds up the extraction process on an extractor machine by 6%. This stacks up to 48% depending on how many Toons are still alive in the team. If you’re making the most out of this ability, you need to be in a team of 3+ people, in my opinion.

Brightney

Brightney’s Active Ability, ‘Night Light’, is useful during Blackouts! If you know a Twisted is around you, you can shine a light on them with Brightney to alert yourself and your teammates of their location. This light lasts for 8 seconds in total, with a 45-second cooldown. Her usefulness may depend on situational factors, but when she can actually use Night Light, it’s a game-changer!

Astro

So, the thing with Astro is that his stats aren’t the best. Apart from his Stealth stat, which is 5 stars. It’s his Active and passive abilities that make him stand out. The Active Ability, ‘Nap Time’, is a fantastic skill to use when you’re playing in a team.

By using this ability, you replenish 50% of any nearby Toon’s stamina. It has a hefty 75-second cooldown, but its benefits make up for it. The passive ability is ‘Well Rested’, which boosts the replenishment speed of stamina by 50% in general for the player.
