Epic Games Store, as has become tradition, has given free games to players to claim this week. This week, gamers will get to add Earthlock and Surviving the Aftermath to their Epic Games Store library from November 16 onwards until November 23. Here’s a quick look at both of these games.
Earthlock is an indie game with RPG elements that have been inspired by titles from the late ’90s. The gameplay offers turn-based combat and character progression as players enter the world of Umbra as one of the six playable heroes. Instead of skill trees, you get a unique progression system through talent tables. The game actually came out in 2018, but it is currently a freebie. It’s actually a good give-away in terms of price, as it costs ₹1,029 on Epic Games Store and ₹1,365 on Steam. Earthlock is developed and published by Snowcastle Games.
Surviving the Aftermath
Surviving the Aftermath is set in a post-apocalyptic future where you have to rebuild and restore civilisation. This city builder/colony management game will make players protect their colony, engage in smart resource management, and discover what caused the apocalypse. Surviving the Aftermath is developed by Iceflake Studios Oy and published by Paradox Interactive AB. This is also a value for money addition to the game library, as it costs ₹699 on both Epic Games Store and Steam.
Deliver Us Mars
After November 23, Epic Games Store will offer a different game for the coming week. Deliver Us Mars will be the title up for grabs next week. Deliver Us Mars is a sci-fi action-adventure game from KeokeN Interactive where the player has to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the Outward so as to save humanity from extinction.
