Epic Games Store is back again with its free offerings for the week, bringing another horror title for the players in the spirit of Halloween. Epic Games Store is offering The Evil Within 2 and Tandem: A Tale of Shadows at no cost between now and November 2, 8:30 PM. Players with an active Epic Games Store account can visit the desktop client of the platform and download these two games for free, just by hitting download on their respective pages.
The Evil Within 2
The Evil Within 2 is the sequel to the popular survival horror title by Tango Gameworks and Bethesda Softworks, The Evil Within. Interestingly, Epic Games Store gave away the first title for free in the previous week and is giving away the sequel this week. In the sequel, players will continue playing as Detective Sebastian Castellanos, who will be entering the nightmarish world of STEM again to save his daughter. Here, players will come across even more horrifying creatures who they can take on head first or stealthily take them down and keep moving.
Tandem: A Tale of Shadows
Tandem: A Tale of Shadows is an indie, puzzle-based platformer that is known for its innovative gameplay and some beautiful visuals. Players take on the role of Emma and her teddy bear, Fenton, and work towards finding the reason why the famous magician, Thomas Kane, has mysteriously disappeared. Players will experience this game in a top-down view when playing as Emma and a side-scrolling view while playing as Fenton. Players will have to solve over forty puzzles and obstacles across five Victorian-themed worlds inspired by Tim Burton, Jules Vernes, and Conan Doyle.
