Characters best suited to clash lane are generally fighters or fighter-tank hybrids, as this position requires a fighter with both durability and high damage output, capable of dominating enemies, taking down mobs, and, occasionally, split pushing.

Honor of Kings mid lane tier list
Characters best suited to the mid lane are generally mages, due in no small part to their powerful ranged attacks. The midlane is a bit of a hotspot in terms of team fights, as it’s the shortest route between opposing crystals, so a mid laner’s main priority should be clearing minion waves and pushing as hard as possible in order to protect their own crystal.

Honor of Kings farm lane tier list
Farm lane offers plenty of gold and exp, and the best characters for this lane generally fall under the marksman role. However, while marksman characters can dish out plenty of damage, they also have low HP, meaning that farm lane leaves you quite vulnerable, and relies on you executing well thought-out strategies, quick farming of enemy minions, and a little help from support characters – especially in the early game.

As the name implies, junglers focus on taking down jungle monsters in order to gain buffs, money, and EXP, then roam around the map, hopping into battles to help take down enemy heroes and crystals. Currently, the best characters for the jungle role are generally assassins or fighters, primarily due to their high DPS and damage output.

Honor of Kings roaming tier list
Roaming heroes, otherwise known as support heroes, play an important role in Honor of Kings matches – and it’s quite different from how supports generally work in LoL. Instead of sticking to one DPS, supports in this game roam around the map, getting vision of the map and enemy locations, then offering healing, buffs, and a helping hand to any allies that need it.

How do I unlock new Honor of Kings characters?
As with any MOBA, you can purchase Honor of Kings characters with in-game currency. However, there are plenty of other ways to snap up new heroes.
If you’re a new player, you can choose your first hero as soon as you install the game. Following that, there’s the New Player 7-Day Sign-in event, which allows you to obtain four heroes for free over the course of seven days. You can also draw heroes and skins for free in the shop using the honor points that you earn by completing new player missions.
After that, you can obtain more heroes through the following methods:
Events – limited-time events like The Road to Greatness allow you to claim free characters upon completing certain tasks or hitting specific milestones, such as climbing rankings
Make friends and play matches – if you add a friend then play three matches with them, you earn 100 diamonds and a bag of gold, which you can then use to purchase items and heroes from the in-game shop
