The Xbox indie darling is almost here!
After eagerly waiting news of an official announcement since 2020, it was finally revealed during the Indie World presentation that Braid: Anniversary Edition will be coming to Nintendo Switch next year. Fans will be able to get their hands on the 15th anniversary game once it releases on April 30, 2024. You can see what it looks like in this trailer:
Braid was first launched back in 2008 on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Xbox Live Arcade service, which became one of the great indie games of its era. The puzzle-platform game focuses on a hero who goes by the name Tim, who is on a quest to rescue a princess from a monster. In order to progress through the game, players must solve puzzles, find hidden clues, and time travel to connect Tim’s narrative.
Braid: Anniversary Edition will be available in the Nintendo Switch eShop on release date. While it’s still a few months away, we’re sure fans are excited for the game to finally be in their grasps.
