Dotemu and Leikir Studio have announced that Metal Slug Tactics will launch in Fall 2024 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One .
Metal Slug Tactics marries classic arcade action with roguelike tactical gameplay, offering a new perspective on the much-loved franchise. Players will have the chance to select from iconic brothers-in-arms from the franchise to form a team then selecting from 36 different loadouts to maximum your potential on the battlefield.
Along the way, you’ll challenge various bosses from the Metal Slug franchise and soak up a head banging soundtrack from Tee Lopes, while customising your weapons with over 176 different mods. Fans meanwhile are sure to appreciate the pixel art visuals, which have been created as a heartfelt tribute to the Metal Slug franchise.
