Microsoft Flight Simulator Fukuoka, Copenhagen, & Maun Airports Get New Screenshots

Third-party developers shared more news about upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons including aircraft and airports.

We start with SNJ Sim which released more screenshots of its upcoming Fukuoka International Airport (RJFF) in Japan. It appears that both the international and the domestic terminals are taking shape nicely.

You can check them out in the tweet below.

Next, SimWorks Studios provided a development update on Maun Airport (FBMN) in Botswana. Modeling is has been completed and the developer plans to release it this month, albeit it’ll feature the older terminal.

“Next on our Maun Airport, all buildings have all been remodeled and the airport will be presented, not with its latest terminal, but with the older one that we are all more familiar with from the Bush Pilots series. With the modeling completed, we anticipate to have the airport wrapped up and released within March.”

The 3D model has also been completed for the Pilatus PC-12, while the GippsAero GA8 Airvan has been indefinitely delayed as the developers works on the model.

“About the PC-12, the 3D model is finally 100% complete, and we hope to show the model in the simulator next weekend, The EFIS and engine instruments that we showed a few weeks ago are now already in the cockpit and their functions are being established with new functionality, while we are patiently picking away at the various circuit breakers.

Last but not least, the Airvan will be indefinitely postponed for further corrections to the 3D model as we are still not happy with it. Further developments about the Airvan will be posted when there is something to show.”

Last, but not least, we get a single but spiffy screenshot of Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (EKCH) in Denmark, in development at SimNord.
