The problem is the large penalties for breaking a contract (out of $470,000 the penalty can be up to $201,000! Thus, you can only get half of it)

But cryptans rightly believe that this makes sense, as the entire penalty is overridden on the simple one X that BTC makes. Even if that one X happens in 7 years, it would be equivalent to the same result of the 401K program (i.e. no risk potentially, and in the case of larger Xs, a profit)
