The COVID-19 pandemic derailed numerous aspects of life, including things like in-person events. In the case of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and its annual tournament, it had been two years since the last one had been held. In 2022, the tournament resumed, and to mark the occasion The Pokémon Company has put together a lovely documentary series dubbed Road to World. The entire shebang is viewable via the company’s YouTube channel:
The series offers some great insight into both what the tournament is like and what its contestants go through on their journeys.
