New Weapons in Fortnitemares 2023

Fortnitemares 2023 brings the players three new weapons. First is the Wood Stake shotgun, which is perfect for taking down Vampires. Next up is Thorne’s Vampiric Blade, which is a Mythic blade that you can acquire by defeating Kado Thorne. The blade restores the player’s health after damaging an enemy. The last new weapon is the Pumpkin Launcher which boasts the destruction capabilities of an RPG but shoots explosive jack-o’-lanterns instead of rockets.

Witch Broom and Sanguine Sweets

Witch Broom is the latest traversal item in 2023 that launches players a decent amount into the air and from where they can glide to any direction they want on the flying broom. In the spirit of the Halloween season, sweets such as Candy Corn, Pepper Mints, Hop Drops, and Jelly Beans have been unvalued, with each of them “offering a distinct benefit”.

Fortnitemares and Horde Rush Quests and Rewards

There are two quest lines that have been added to the game with each providing you a bunch of XP and some Halloween-themed cosmetic rewards. The first quest line includes the Fortnitemares Quest, where players can complete 5 of them to earn the Bat Royale Back Bling and a Cat Banner Icon. If they complete 15 quests, they can earn Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, and Hypnotic-Bat Spray. Lastly, if they complete 25 Fortnitemares quests then players will end up earning the Revenant Rider Glider, Within the Sanctum Loading Screen, and Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track. The Fortnitemares Quests are available till November 3.

The next questline is the return of the popular limited-time game mode, Horde Rush. In this game mode players need to defeat enemies to increase their score and have to survive until they beat the final boss. This mode can be accessed through the Discover tab. If players complete 1 Horde Rush quest, they will earn The Murk wrap. Completing 4 quests will fetch them the Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon and completing 7 Horde Rush quests will provide them with the Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe. The Horde Rush game mode is available in Fortnite till November 3 too.
