Genshin Impact will soon get the second Event Wish gacha of version 4.1, which will bring forth a brand new and rather cool character named Wriothesley.
He’s a five-star Cryo character, and today we get to learn a bit more about him with a brand new trailer setting the mood for his introduction.
Interestingly, Wriothesley has made the peculiar career jump from inmate of the prison Fortress of Meropide in Fontaine to its administrator.
Of course, things have changed a lot since his takeover, and it appears they have done so for the better.

The Japanese version starring star actor Daisuke Ono is available on the official YouTube channel. You’ll probably find his voice familiar, as he played Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail, Van Arkride in the recent Trails games Jotaro Kujo in the JoJo series, Snow Villiers in the Final Fantasy XIII series, and many more famous roles.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, and Android. A Switch version has been announced a long time ago, but we haven’t heard anything concrete since.
In other HoYoverse news, today Honkai: Star Rail has been released on PS5, alongside the launch of version 1.4 “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream” and the five-.star ice character Jingliu.
