The title has been further delayed, expected to come to Switch November 14th, 2023; a four month delay for the port.
The original release date was set for July 25th, 2023 until Avalanche Software announced the delay on Twitter, stating “…creating the best possible experience is our top priority.” The game has recently been released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 5th with good results, and time will tell if we see the same for Switch.

The much-anticipated Hogwarts Legacy has faced several delays, starting from its announcement in 2020 and intended release in 2021. It was subsequently delayed to 2022 and then finally launched in February 2023. If the game’s optimization for the Switch is successful, it would represent one of the most impressive technical achievements on the console. This is especially remarkable since Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most ambitious open-world games of this generation.
