Play Suicide Squad game early in closed alpha — here’s how to sign up

Warner Bros. is calling for players to test the online capabilities of Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League via a closed alpha test on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Registrations are now open to play the game between Thursday, November 30 and Monday, December 4.

If the latest gameplay reveal for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has you excited to cause chaos in Metropolis with Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark, then the upcoming closed alpha might be for you.

While signing up for the closed alpha doesn’t guarantee you a spot during the test, registrations are now open on the official website for those wanting to get an early look at the game next week. Just keep in mind it’s an alpha test, so there are likely to be bugs, and they’re known to be quite vexing.Be aware, however, that Warner Bros. will ask you to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you can access the test. In an email sent to players, Warner Bros says:

“This test and all related information/content is private and highly confidential. Only participants who accept the terms of an NDA will be able to participate. Any breach of the NDA will result in damage to the launch plans for the game. Posting (or streaming) images/screenshots, videos, or any text-based impressions of your experience online, via social media, or in any public forum is strictly prohibited, as is speaking to press outlets or content creators in any way. Keep in mind, all gameplay is watermarked with a unique identifier tied to your account.”

During the test, you’ll only access a specific part of the campaign, but we would hope that it will offer you the chance to play around with each of the characters in Rocksteady’s third-person action shooter. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League looks to feature traversal and combat similar to the Arkham Knight trilogy, although you’ll be playing as the ragtag band of anti-heroes taking on the Justice League instead of giving bad guys a beatdown.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was initially down to launch earlier this year, but Rocksteady delayed the game into 2024 for “further polish” shortly after showcasing the co-op gameplay and live service elements. It will now launch on February 2 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
