Poco has launched its latest X-series phone in India, the Poco X5 5G. The smartphone arrives as the upgraded version of the Poco X4, with the X5 featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and an AMOLED panel.

Poco X5 5G: Specifications

The Poco X5 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 × 2,400 pixels. The display has an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

In addition, the smartphone covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The front panel has a punch-hole cutout which houses the selfie camera. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer.

Speaking of the camera, the Poco X5 5G features a triple rear-camera setup. The camera array comprises a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. There’s a 13MP camera at the front for selfies.

The Poco X5 is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and an integrated Adreno 619 GPU. It is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. On the software side, the phone boots Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1. It also gets a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Poco X5 5G: Price in India

The Poco X5 5G costs ₹18,999 in India for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 256GB version is priced at ₹20,999. As part of the launch offer, the brand is providing a discount of ₹2,000 on purchases via ICICI bank cards.

The Poco X5 will go on sale from March 21, 2023 via Flipkart. The device comes in Supernova Green, Wildcat Blue, and Jaguar Black color options.
