XDefiant, the brand-new, highly anticipated first-person shooter from Ubisoft, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in just a few days. With a previous Call of Duty developer at the helm in Mark Rubin, FPS fans around the world are eager to see if this fast-paced shooter can go toe-to-toe with the likes of Call of Duty and Battlefield.

Thankfully, there’s not long left to wait, as Ubisoft has finally nailed down a release date and time following months of beta tests and speculation. And if you can’t wait to jump in, make sure you’ve pre-loaded the game on your platform of choice. All supported platforms can now pre-load XDefiant ready for its release in just a few more days.

Ubisoft also won over the hearts of FPS fans around the world earlier this week when it confirmed that XDefiant would have no skill-based matchmaking in its casual playlists. With a ranked mode being added “in a future season,” those looking for more of a challenge will be able to jump into the competitive mode, while casual players will be able to take things at their own pace with no SBMM.

Ubisoft has finally confirmed that XDefiant will be released on Tuesday, May 21st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The exact release time will vary, depending on your region.
