Samsung has introduced a new colour variant of its flagship Galaxy S23 in India. The Samsung Galaxy S23 was unveiled earlier this year alongside the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Plus. The Galaxy S23 is Samsung’s portable flagship smartphone, succeeding last year’s Galaxy S22.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 features a 50 MP triple-camera setup, a 120Hz FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, a 3,900 mAh battery, and a premium build with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front and back. Now, let’s look at the new colour option for the Galaxy S23.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Lime Colour
Samsung originally unveiled the Galaxy S23 in Cream, Phantom Black, Green, and Lavender colour options. And now, the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 will be offered in a new Lime colour.
The Lime colour of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will go on sale in India starting May 16. It will be available for purchase from all leading online and offline retail stores across India.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Price in India
The Samsung Galaxy S23 price in India is set at Rs 74,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. It also comes in an 8GB/256GB configuration that will set you back Rs 79,999.
Samsung is also offering a discount of Rs 5,000 with the purchase of the Galaxy S23 with an HDFC Bank card. Additionally, customers can also get up to Rs 8,000 additional value on the exchange of older phones. The pricing of the Lime variant of the Galaxy S23 is the same as the other models.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is powered by a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset is equipped with a 3,900mAh battery coupled with 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support.
The Galaxy S23 sports a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with an FHD+ screen resolution, HDR10+ support, and a Super Smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display can reach a peak brightness of 1750 nits. The phone runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top. Samsung also promises four years of software updates and five years of security updates with the S23.
For optics, the Galaxy S23 boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Samsung primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is paired with a 12MP Dual Pixel ultrawide shooter, and a 10MP telephoto lens (f/ 2.4, 3x optical zoom, OIS). Up front, there’s a new 12 MP selfie camera with PDAF.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front and back. It also has an Armor aluminium frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and more.
