V Rising Crafting Guide | Where to Make Items

This V Rising Crafting Guide will tell you how crafting works, how to unlock more crafting recipes, and which workbenches you need to craft items!

A big part of V Rising is crafting your own items and equipment using specialized workbenches in your Castle. Though using the right Spells and Powers matter, backing it up with good equipment is the key to success. Read on to learn everything you need to know about crafting and refining items!

How Crafting Works

As with most games in this genre, the vast majority of V Rising crafting takes place at specialized workbenches. You can make a handful of items in your inventory, but you’ll quickly move beyond these as you unlock your first crafting stations such as the Simple Workbench.

Crafting benches can get two distinct bonuses depending on where you place them:

Shelter bonus: Placing a crafting workbench inside of a closed Castle room with four walls and a ceiling will speed up crafting by 25%.
Cost bonus: Placing a crafting workbench on specific flooring will reduce crafting costs by 25%. Each crafting workbench requires a specific type of floor; for example, the Forge must be placed on Forge Flooring to get its bonus.

While some items are created nearly instantly, many items take time to craft. This is especially true of refining workbenches such as the Sawmill — it’s generally a good idea to build at least two or three of these workbenches to speed up crafting overall.

How to Unlock More Crafting Recipes in V Rising

At first, you’ll unlock more crafting recipes by completing the tutorial at the start of the game. Once that’s finished, though, you’ll have to defeat V Blood bosses to unlock new crafting stations and new crafting recipes.

V Rising Crafting List

Here is what you can craft at each of the workbenches and refining stations in the game. Keep in mind that unlocking a station is not enough to get access to its crafting recipe; sometimes, you will have to defeat a specific boss to get access to some crafting recipes, even if you already have the crafting stations needed to make those items.
